While this is certainly not specific only to Utah, there is a considerable reported amount of participation perhaps because of prevalence of the LDS Church.

This is the most important legal case I've ever heard of because of what it uncovers and how far it's implications go. If you dig deeply in the case you'll see that it allegedly implicates many people, including the following:

-Shalom Leavitt, BYU Professor and sex researcher
-Gordon Bowen, advertising executive, LDS Church of Satan punisher (a position responsible for keeping people in line through torture, terror, and murder) and close associate with many general authorities including Gordon Hinckley, James Faust, Boyd Packer, Russ Ballard, Gerritt Gong, Todd Christofferson, Neal Anderson, Richard Wirthlin, and Dale Renlund and connected to politicians like Mitt Romney and George H.W. Bush
-David Hamblin, disgraced psychologist
-Rose Anderson Hamblin Stevenson, former wife of David Hamblin, daughter of Richard Lloyd Anderson and Carma de Jong Anderson, and granddaughter of Gerritt DeJong, Jr.
-Richard Lloyd Anderson, a well known BYU religion professor best known as the author of, Investigating the Book of Mormon Witnesses
